MINT Ideas Workshop at the Cleantech Innovation Park
The Cleantech Innovation Park in Hallstadt is currently being built as a place where research and development can be promoted and companies supported. Those responsible are very aware that this only works in connection with education. That is why lifelong learning is an important pillar in the concept.
On 8 April 2022, about fifty representatives from business, schools and universities, but also from chambers, youth work, municipalities and education providers met at the Cleantech Innovation Park for the MINT Ideas Workshop. MINT stands for mathematics, information technology, natural sciences and technology, areas in which children and young people, and especially girls, must be inspired if sufficient skilled workers are to be available for these important occupational fields in the future. The Bamberg District Education Office and the Cleantech Innovation Park invited the participants to gather and coordinate wishes and needs, ideas and visions in the field of STEM for the newly emerging park.
The results of the lively and varied workshop were recorded by graphic recording and also serve as a stimulus for the work in a future MINT network Bamberg. The goal is for all participants to pull together to bundle, intensify and promote STEM offerings.
